Melt butterscotch and chocolate chips over a double boiling system. A double boiling system can be made by placing a sauce pan over low heat with an inch of water at the bottom then place a heat proof bowl over top and add in the chips to melt slowly.
Gently toss the chow mein noodles and peanuts in with the melted butterscotch and chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoon size onto parchment paper, continue until all the mixture is spooned out. To speed up the process of cooling place into the refrigerator. Enjoy!
